Playa Palo Seco, Costa Rica, Central Pacific Region (Puntarenas Province)

Palo Seco is a long narrow stretch of sand that creates a barrier island in front of El Estero de Palo Seco.  The beach is full of uncrowded waves and is located near the town of Parrita, Costa Rica.  The beach break can be fun when small, and there are several rivermouth peaks that make for better shaped waves, but Palo Seco is usually closed out when it gets big.
